Subject: zephyr description file
What happened:
I'm using an almost-vanilla .zephyr.desc. I recieved a filsys message
that displayed roughly as follows:
(Authentication: Authentic from host: CRONOS.MIT.EDU)
Filesystem Operation Message for POLLUX.MIT.EDU:
From: probe
Richard Basch
I am about to bring pollux down for a salvage; at least one volume on /vicepb
(vid 536921396) claims to need salvaging. Though this volume is not in the
VLDB, there may be other corruption on the server. This operation should take
about 15 minutes
What's wrong:
I was away from my workstation for about fifteen minutes and found this
on my screen with NO TIMESTAMP.
What should have happened:
All messages, ESPECIALLY FILSYS, should display the time field.
Thanks,
Rhu
