Subject: vax 7.2R: xzwrite
System name: fries
Type and version: CVAXSTAR 7.2R
Display type: SM
What were you trying to do?
Use the "yank-prev" feature of xzwrite.
What's wrong:
According to the manpage, yank-prev will yank the previous
message, along with the destination of the message. However,
this is not the default behavior. You only get this behavior if
you click on the "Yank Destinations" button in the little
options menu that you get by clicking the right mouse button on
the xzwrite main window.
Also, the manpage doesn't describe what all the options (on the
little pop-up options menu) are. Most of them I was able to
figure out by trying them or by guessing, but I still don't know
what the "Class/Inst" button does...?
What should have happened:
The manpage should match the program, or vice versa. The
manpage should also be more complete.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
man xzwrite
