What is the default occurrance if it totally fails resolving the name?
If its going to cause more problems by reducing the time, then I'd almost
say its not worth it. Then again, waiting for 32 seconds isn't the best
thing to do, either... Instead of an geometric progression of wait-times,
maybe an arithmetic progression would be better?
If retries are at 1, 2, 3, 4 seconds, then you have a total possible wait of
your 10 seconds...
