I have done some re-organizing of the pts groups in the rel-eng cell to
create some consistency:
builder:* owned by builder:adm
These groups are people who are building/developing various
subsets (eg. builder:rios has write access to the rios locker).
builder:build For Release builds (usually only "builder" and
"source" are in this group)
source:* owned by source:adm
These are to comply with various source licenses.
source:write has idwk access everywhere; these are the people
who are permitted to modify the tree. Other
rights are granted via other groups. "rl" is
not given to this group, so that it will comply
to various source restrictions.
Groups owned by source:adm (id: -98764) are:
source:adm
source:rios RISC/6000 AIX 3.1 source
source:submit For source submissions (not used currently)
source:read General read access (rename to source:staff?)
source:write Release Engineering (write access; doesn't imply read)
source:ultrix Ultrix source access
Groups owned by builder:adm (id: -98767) are:
builder:adm
builder:sparc Write access to "sparc" tree
builder:4.3reno Write access to 4.3reno tree
builder:nfsdev Write access to nfsdev playground
builder:rios Write access to RISC/6000 port
builder:ultrix Write access to Ultrix port
builder:x11r4 Write access to "x11r4"
builder:lpr Write access to LPR development
builder:synctree Write access to "synctree" (locker out of date)
builder:write (not useful currently - delete?)
builder:build *SPECIAL* release build group with special permissions
