I have been working on making up a set of README files that summarize end-user
obligations in regard to Third Party Athena software. Almost all of these will
go into the appropriate lockers as a file README.RIGHTS but several packages
have been in the Release and I would like to have the READMEs appended to the
end of the appropriate man page. I am enclosing the text of these below, for
the Enscript man page (it applies to enscript and other software in the
Transcript package by Adobe), and for the CodeCenter (Saber C) man page by
CenterLine:

for enscript man page:

TranScript (enscript, ps*) Rights of Use (Adobe Systems, Inc.)

SITES: Athena sites on main MIT campus.

SECURITY RESTRICTIONS: Users acknowledge that the software and associated
documentation incorporate confidential information and trade secrets. This
information is furnished to licensed users for their sole and exclusive use
and is not for sale or sublicense. Users agree to use reasonable efforts to
ensure that they do not (1) publish, disclose or otherwise divulge to any
person, except MIT officers and employees on a need-to-know basis, either
during or after the term of the license agreement, nor (2) to permit MIT's
officers or employees to so divulge any confidential information.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS: Users agree to not provide access to the TranScript
software to computers which are not located at the designated site by means of
remote access equipment and/or communications facilities.

Users agree to retain all copyright and proprietary notices, in the same form
as they appear in the materials originally supplied by Adobe, on all copies of
TranScript software materials.

for CodeCenter man page:

==============cut here=========================================

CodeCenter (formerly Saber C) Rights of Use (CenterLine Software, Inc.)

SECURITY RESTRICTIONS: Users shall treat the licensed software and documents
containing CenterLine information in the same manner as they treat their own
similar materials they not wish to disclose to third parties nor publish.
Users agree to implement reasonable procedures to prohibit the use or transfer
of licensed software in connection with or to computer systems other than the
designated equipment.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS: Users shall not disassemble or decompile the licensed
software. Users shall not modify the licensed software.

Users agree to never remove any copyright notices, trademark notices, legends,
logos or product identification included on or in the licensed software. Each
copy of software or user documentation in any form must retain the software
serial number assigned by CenterLine.

If CodeCenter is put in a locker instead of in the Release, this README can
go there instead. Thanks.

                                          Alex Prengel, Jr.
