We should convert to mh 6.7 for Athena release 7.3. I have built and tested
mh 6.7 with Kerberos on BSD (RT & VAX), AIX 1.2, and AIX 3.1. To get to my
sources:
attach achates:u1
cd /achates/u1/mh-6.7
Files named *.orig are the original sources. I had to change NULL to 0 in a
lot of places where it was used as an integer (some systems, including AIX
3.1, define NULL to be a pointer). I also added kerberos and hesiod support
and fixed some bugs in inc and msgchk (these commands now use $HOME to find
a user's home directory, and $USER to get a username; inc and msgchk check
the correct po server when the -user option is used).
A description of the changes from mh 6.6 to mh 6.7 can be found in
/achates/u1/mh-6.7/papers/mh6.7/mh6.7.ms. There is a hardcopy of this
6-page document on my desk (to the right of the megapel monitor).
