I don't see what more than that I can do; if inappropriate files are
world-readable, then anyone with AFS can read them, which means we're
already violating licenses all over the place; my copying them to UCSC
doesn't change anything about that.
that's right ... but MIT needs to tighten up on these issues, and when
i was there the ACLs were not at all representative of who should have
access to these things.
i'm not interested in discussing this; i just meant to raise a point.
