There is nothing more insecure about an X program getting your
password than there is about xlogin getting your password when you log
in (xlogin IS an X program, after all, remember?), as long as it grabs
the server first. Xkinit doesn't currently grab the server (because I
never bothered to put the one or two lines of code in the program to
do it), but it could be made to do so easily.
