I disagree ... having an X program get your password is the wrong thing to do. Anyway, this was approved by Peter Roden and I only did this as a quickie at his request. I.e. it is official and will probably stay as is for this release (the name for it is still up in the air though as I found out some time earlier today) - Ilham
