We've been testing a newer set of firmware on ceres, in the hopes of
fixing some of the remaining 79 errors. Since it's been over a month,
and we haven't uncovered any new problems with it, Garry and I will
perform the same update on the rest of the cluster printers.
This will involve me visiting each printer, to make sure it doesn't get
disturbed during the update, and rebooting it if necessary, although
the work of the upgrade will be done remotely.
If there's any private HP 8150's that are in need of the update, and
which are accessible to us during the day, let me know, and I'll add
them to our list. It's not really worth bothering with, though, unless
users are complaining about frequent 79 errors.
We'll probably do this tomorrow evening or afternoon, and keep you
updated in the event of any unforseen problems.
