There seems to be a problem with the fingering mechanism in these two
machines. I know that w20-575-17 is not dead; I have seen people logged
in to it, but when the machine itself is fingered, the connection is
refused:
[w20-575-17.mit.edu]connect: Connection refused
This has been happening for about two weeks, maybe more.

As for e51-075-17, the connection isn't refused, but it merely hangs. I
do not know whether or not the machine is dead, it would be really sad
if it were, but this has been happening for about a week.

I've been told that the problem is with the individual machines, and
probably not a big deal. But it _is_ rather annoying...

If anything could be done to fix this, I would be really happy.

Thanks,
Molly
