chimera.mit.edu, one of the afs db servers, will go down for a software
upgrade just before midnight Tuesday night, bringing it to Athena 8.3.
The outage should last about an hour, and while clients may notice
timout messages such as:
afs: Lost contact with volume location server 18.159.0.34
in their consoles, all data on chimera is replicated, so they should
not experience any actual loss of service.
