I was working on m1-142-17 at about 2.00 a.m. today i.e. APril 2, 1998
when the workstation lost contact with the server and it could not save
the file I was working on. I managed to save the file in the /tmp
directory of this machine i.e. "m1-142-17". The file is called
prob2_1.m. Can you somehow make sure that the file doesn't get deleted,
or better just email me the file ?
I would really appreciate it, it contains more than 3 hrs. of my work.

I don't seem to be able to do anything on this machine right now.
That is, if I try to login it says it failed to activate the machine
and asks me to contact hotline@mit.edu.
