1.	I have replaced the logic board in 4-035-6...the one that has been getting parity errors.
That has solved the problem in all of the other machines, hopefully it will do the same to this
even though the failure mode is not exactly the same.

Machine: 4-035-6
S/N: 080069095EFD
Problem: parity errors:
solution: logic board (030-8123-014)
Log # R9010

2. The system beside it, M4-034-7, is still cycling through with an error that has required
a software reinstall before. It is coming to a PANIC: KERNEL FAULT and spits out the message
"Software detected SEGV." Have you guys tried software, or has that failed and I need to find a
hardware cause?

		(A400) m4-035-6 panicked on me; m4-0

Subject: m4-035-6 panicked on me; m4-035-7 totally screwed up

First:

I was using the SGI m4-035-6 when all of a sudden, my screen
disappeared and was replaced by a message "Cache parity error" or some
such thing. It proceeded to write its memory to disk and reboot.
It's back up now, but some poor unsuspecting soul might take issue
with this behavior.

Second:

The machine nextdoor, m4-035-7 (labeled m4-034-7) has a note on it
that says "Please do not disturb. Software is reloading. Wait for
login window. Athena Operations." It repeatedly boots, has a bunch
of errors, kernel panics, and writes its memory to disk and reboots.
I don't think, at this rate, that it'll ever load any software.

Hi Kyle -

This bad boy has come back as a problem.
Please take another look at it, thanks
