I've often answered network questions about one of these machines (3 i think)
by going into the cluster and reconnecting the AUI network cable on the floor
lying between them to the transceiver. It seems to frequently end up on the
floor away from the wall such that people kick it around with their feet.
Maybe it should be put into a cable tray or something to secure it?
i'm not sure if this is netops' responsibility, please forward it if that's
the case.
