Doing the hack reinstalls of the eos systems in 14-0637 i
came across #12 which kept loosing contact with servers and
hanging up on the install. I have run test diags which showed
nothing, watch-net zip'd by like no tomorrow. I have tried
using both servers solar and solar2. I have tried to install
after the other 7 were done, i have swap'd the utp cable.
Just now on this latest install it zip'd all the way to running
track then started receiving the following err:
afs lost contact with file server 18.183.0.26 in cell athena
"
afs file server 18.183.0.26 in cell athena is back up
"
it has repeated above err 3 sets of times, Im going to wait
about another 10mins to see what happens. I don't want to
start swap'ing parts because Im not sure where the problem
is. Also dont want to start install on another machine for
fear of taking out another one.
does anyone in op have an idea?? should this server be
interfering with the install of this system??
