Lou reseated the kbd cables this afternoon. cartoon panicked again
just now. It then started spewing errors about Sb: (or something like
that). I suspect that this might be related to the kbd. Perhaps it
would be worth it to swap out the kbd/mouse and cables to see if the
problem goes away.

Hi, could you please check the keyboard/mouse/cables on cartoon.mit.edu?
It's a maxine located in the watchmaker zone(e40-342) on the hallway side.
It's been having intermittent problems with the keyboard&mouse locking
up- every once in a while it will start ignoring any keyboard or mouse
operations, making it impossible to do anything(I have to reboot by logging
in remotely). Jonathon Weiss(jweiss@mit.edu) said reconnecting
the keyboard and mouse cables helped, so I think it's a hardware problem.
I've included his message to me below. Let me know if you need more
information.
Thanks,
James Chang
