It would be useful if we had a volunteer to attend, and report back on what
happens...location is convenient...note you need to register.

Dear Customer,
As you may be aware, Apple Computer has recently made available
QuickTime 1.0, our first software extension to System 7.0. QuickTime
1.0 allows for the inclusion of dynamic data such as sound, video and
animation into mainstream applications. To date, over 100 new third
party products have been announced that use QuickTime.
Imagine, a Macintosh spreadsheet with audible instructions attached to
specific cells...a word processing document with real-time moving video
images embedded in the text. These are just some of the possibilities
provided through QuickTime's powerful media integration. And with
Apple's new Movie Exchange Toolkit, Macintosh developers can convert
data from other computer systems to QuickTime movies.
To help familiarize you with QuickTime 1.0, we have arranged for Doug
Camplejohn, Apple's Worldwide QuickTime Product Manager and several
members of the original QuickTime development team to host a technical
review for our New England area customers and developers. The session
will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, February 12th at the
Cambridge Marriott in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA. There will be a 30
minute technical presentation followed by product demonstrations and a
question and answer session. Space is limited and all seats must be
reserved by calling (617) 374-5499.
We hope you can join us!
Best regards,
Apple Computer, Inc.
