I have created a new public mailing list called "batch" to discuss the
implementation of batch service in the Athena environment. The
near-term goal is to find a way to make intelligent use of DEC's
donation of the VAX9000. To that end Tony Testa from Digitial will be
looking at existing technology and try to adapt it for use at MIT.
Please feel free to point him (and the rest of use via the "batch"
mailing list) to prior art in the area.
