It's a waste of time to write to politicians. Or to call them. Or to
negotiate with them. Or to spend any amount of time listening to them.

EFF had the right idea in getting out of Dodge. Now if only Declan, Brock,
and all the other cyber-journalists can get out of D.C. and find real
jobs...

(I was informed by an esteemed member of our list that I "frightened" a
D.C. journalist in the lobby at CFP when I answered her question about what
I thought about the role of crypto in hiding the actions of nuclear
terrorists. I gave her my stock answer: maybe a nuclear bomb smuggled into
D.C. could be the best thing to happen to the country...get rid of hundreds
of thousands of leeches and almost a million welfare addicts. Think of it
as evolution in action. Abu Nidal bites the head off the Great Satan, and
America is liberated...everybody's happy, except some incinerated corpses
and their relatives.)

--Tim May, who only asks that Abu Nidal hold off for another week or
so...an ex-girlfriend whom I still hold in esteem is doing the museum/White
House thing in D.C. this week

There's something wrong when I'm a felon under an increasing number of laws.
