My favorite suggestions so far:
- ignoring the request, citing the body of printed literature that uses
the old name without (tm) assertion even from RSADSI -- see, for example,
http://www.rsa.com/rsalabs/faq/html/5-2-4.html et passim.
- Peter Gutmann's BHL (by analogy with Apple's Sagan/BHA project)
- Neil Koblitz' "Adleman Rivest Shamir Encryption" (alphabetical order :)
- Arnold Reinhold's "Biprime Cryptography"
- And my new favorite from sci.crypt, Don Johnson's suggestion CTP, for
"Cocks' Two Prime" algorithm, honoring the first discoverer of the
algorithm, Clifford Cox (see http://jya.com/ellis.htm ).
