And people, including "Anonymous," who are following Y2K from the odd
postings in Cypherpunks should realize they are only getting the barest
glimpse of the issues.
Anonymous, in particular, is clueless about my overall position on Y2K.
In any case, as I said a day or so ago, Cypherpunks is not the right forum
for discussing Y2K. Not only because it is not the charter of the group,
but also because Cypherpunks now is mostly a quiet group with occasional
outbursts from newbies and AOLers and WebTVers. A few IQ points below that
of comp.software.year-2000, which is saying something.
