Then there are various different kinds of ages of consent. In most states in
the United States of Amerika, the age of consent is younger than 18. In one
(New Mexico? Wyoming?) the age of consent is or was 13. That's the age of
consent for having sex.
In other words, without being a lawyer, it looks like a teenager can go out
and have sex with anybody they want, but there had better not be a camera
running, or any kind of textual representation made of it. If the guy tells
a story about it, he goes to jail. If someone downloads the story, they go
to jail.
Thoughtcrime.
Is anybody in a friendly area (Amsterdam maybe?) and willing to come up
with some way to save all kinds of text-based porn and maybe some pictures
and movies if theres disk space and bandwidth, then send it on demand
through anonymous remailers?
The person retrieving such information would have to do it without anybody
knowing. This implies anonymous remailers, or a nym server. A nym server
might work, but traffic analysis would be fairly easy. Nyms can be chained
to each other and the person running the archive service can use one as
well. Remailer chains should be changed often and the nym server used should
be in another friendly country.
If someone outside of the U.S. could pull this off, it might serve to make a
good point. Better if it's in some country where the age of consent is
low and lots of evil thoughts can be put on it. Better still if the server
sends out decoy traffic through the remailers and if somebody writes a
program which randomly pulls dirty thoughts and kills them on receipt, and
anonymously releases it to Cypherpunks.
What are they going to do, launch a cruise missile strike on the server and
send the shock troops in to put all anonymous remailers out of business?
Jail all anon remailer users as part of some RICO conspiracy? I shouldn't
joke about that.
