Dear Cynthia,
I really wanted to go to lunch with you today, however, I have a bit
of a problem. Due to the Monday holiday, my check for my realty man
was delayed in the post office. I was expecting it yesterday but it
didn't show up in my mailbox. I have to check the mailbox AGAIN and then
give the man his money. I would do this after work but the guy is showing
some students apartments at that time and I have to go to my other job
at 6:00. Please accept my apologies. I would love to go have coffee
with you after work, if that's convenient for you. I'll see you this
afternoon anyway, right? Again, I'm really sorry!!!!
