Hello Robin -

You asked:

My advice to you is not to depend on _any_ Sun systems running
Athena other than the ones that we currently support in the
clusters - at this time the SPARCclassic, the SPARC4, and the
SPARC5. I'm not sure where the Super falls, but although it is
possible that our install procedure works with that system, it is
by no means certain.

So, my suggestion is that if you need to run Athena you purchase a
SPARC4 or SPARC5. If you need a more powerful configuration, then
Athena might not be right for your purposes.

Did you purchase your system from the MCC or directly from Sun?
If from the MCC, they should have given you the same advice that I
just did.
