I hope that recent posts to release-team show you that we DID take
seriously your report.
I apologize for not reading your earlier note carefully enough to see
that you had pointed to an exact transcript of your testing.
We're delaying the release, now that we are confirming that there is a
fault in AFS.
The determination of when we let the release out will hinge on:
1. The likelihood that others will be hurt by the problem.
2. The form a work-around will take.
3. Whether or not a fix becomes available, and what sort of testing is
required to confirm the fix breaks nothing else.
