A couple of Solaris and Irix patch releases have gone out recently
(8.0D and 8.0E for Solaris, 8.0C for Irix). They're just bugfixes, no
particularly interesting changes. 8.0E for Solaris needs to be
propagated to the Athena cell, and we can go public with that.
I have taken to recording the changes in patch relaeses and posting
them to rel-eng when the patch release goes out to the dev cell. I do
not expect to announce every minor patch release here during the
summer (patch releases to be propagated to the Athena cell during the
term are a different matter), so people should be aware that they
should watch subject lines in the rel-eng discuss meeting if they want
to know about all the little bugfixes I've made.
