Vendor support for Linux commercial Third Party software on Athena

Hi Bill,

Here's what I've been able to come up with on Third Party app support 
on Ubuntu from vendors.

Note- apart from vendor support statements, all Athena Third Party
applications listed below have been made to install and work on Athena
10/Ubuntu releases through 8.10 (in some cases with workarounds
applied). With few exceptions, free support from the net has been
significantly more useful and timely than that provided by vendors.

Product: Maple
Supported 32 bit Linux platforms: Red Hat Enterprise 4 and 5, SuSE 9.3, 10.1, 
  10.2, Mandriva 2006, Ubuntu 7
Statement of Ubuntu support: officially supported platform, but may be limited 
  to LTS releases (e.g. 8.04) in the future for logistical reasons.
