The MIT PXE service's "Athena" option is now using version 6a
of the Linux Athena installer, which is in turn based on the
newly-released RHEL 4.7 and has much better support for modern hardware.
This release supports PXE installs of the newly-arriving Dell gx755
hardware, though until the public release of 9.4.49 they may still run at
a suboptimal screen resolution. (For public machines, the 9.4.49 release
will repair them automatically with no further action required.)
Newer hardware may still need PXE booting turned on via the BIOS setup
menus, but needing to downgrade disk mode should be a thing of the past.
