Unfortunately, you can't mix stock Red Hat GNOME packages built
into /usr with Athena GNOME packages built into /usr/athena.  Part of
the design of the Athena 10 work is to avoid getting into this situation
in the future, but obviously that doesn't help you until it goes live.

Since we'd have to do CVS imports of the GNOME libraries and get them
all to build, and then debug any resulting dotfile problems etc., I am
guessing this will be too much work to schedule--certainly too much for
the fall, so it would be for IAP at the earliest.
