I just installed a 745 using athena-6beta2.5.iso, and chose manual
disk partitioning. The disk initially had the following partition
scheme:

sda1 - Dell Utility - 64M
sda2 - NTFS - 220G.

I deleted sda2, and created the following layout:

sda1 - Dell Utility - 64M
sda2 - Linux - 200M
sda3 - Swap - 4G
sda5 - Linux - 20G
sda6 - AFS cache - 512M
sda7 - Linux - 200G

I specified the following to the installer:

boot: sda2
swap: sda3
root: sda5
cache: sda6

The installer correctly determined that something was installed on
sda1 and asked me to create a boot menu entry for it, but it also
insisted something was installed on sda7, even though that's
impossible. Does it automatically assume any Linux partitions that
aren't being used for the install have something on them? Or have I
encountered a bug?
