Hi.

Could you please provide a bit more info?  Do you mean it
prompts repeatedly for the master password for the "software
security device"?  Do you have and remember such a password,
and are you entering it in response to this prompt?  Does
the problem happen on some Athena machines (e.g. Suns) but
not others?
