Well, as far as I'm concerned anything significant that's broken with Matlab 
should be high priority as it's the most used Third Party app on Athena.

I'm not certain when the lossage started; the last time I changed
anything in the matlab lockers was when I made version 7.1 the
default, on January 6. I'm at a loss to explain why we haven't gotten
a lot more complaints a lot sooner. OLC told me they started filtering
in the last week or so. OLC thinks most users use it on Linux, or
use it from the student distribution which isn't affected, or just
don't need to print much. Maybe assignments are now coming due...

I did test it by the way- printing works on my local printer which seems
to be just about the only one anybody knows about where it does work.
No one seems to know why. I didn't do anything special...

Might this have been caused by something else in the release, not in
the Matlab locker?

Presuming OLC can deal with the complaints, I suppose we can wait till
the scheduled release date.
