At owls I took the action item to make a couple updates to the Release
Timeline to reflect synchronizing with acquisition of hardware
prototypes and the annual big buy.
Along the way, taking note that too few people seem to read the Release
pages, or to take advantage of the information there, I decided to try
and simplify what was there and focus more tightly on what will be
genuinely useful.
Please examine:
http://web/release/www/new-index.html
and
http://web/release/www/testing-cycle.html
These two pages replace:
index.html, explain.html, and change-policy.html
The page release.html is next on my list to be updated.
If I hear no objections by Friday, I'll move new-index.html into place
as the official index.html.
