1. Crash and burn status
The source tree builds on both platforms. Test updates without
operating system changes reveal a bunch of problems, as expected.
We have package lists for RHEL 4.
We have a preliminary OS volume, install volume, miniroot, and package
lists for Solaris 10. They have revamped their boot-time startup
system and their inetd system, which will require changes on our part.
2. Status report
(Under separate cover.)
3. Jabber
In about a month there will probably be a meeting (including some
Athena people and some people from other teams) to discuss how to
introduce Jabber.
