Hi folks. With this release, were there any changes that might have
affected mhmail, sendmail or mail in general, perhaps on Linux?
One of the JP students here sent email out to a group of people on Jan
13 and again Jan 20 using mhmail. Both times, most of her recipient
list seems to have been dropped when compared to what was actually sent
and logged in the mail log file. She received no bounces or errors and
most recipients never got the email.
When I ran some tests today, I was unable to reproduce any problems.
All I can think of was the update later on Jan 20 fixing something.
Problem now is the user doesn't trust the sending of emails and I'm not
sure what to tell her.
I'd like to follow up on this and can provide more details, but want to
make sure I've got the attention of the correct people first.
Please direct me as necessary. Thanks in advance for any guidance.
