Okay, then the plan is:
* We will do the locker thing on Solaris.
* We will do the native RPM thing on Linux. (We will also build the
locker for Linux so that people can use it as a fallback, or run
particular versions of tetex, but it won't be the default thing to
use.)
We should also, while we're talking about disconnected operation:
* For 9.3, review the package list and make sure to include software
that we excluded because it lives in lockers. (Unless the locker
version has important local changes, as is the case with CVS,
which is also not so useful off-net.)
