Today I went about doing the work to take Andrew (ez et al) off the
system packs.
But hit a problem with fixing up the font path. The choices were:
1. replace runapp with a wrapper that would set the font path.
2. Leave the font support on the packs.
3. Leave the font path on the packs, make the fonts a mountpoint on
the packs to a locker, but not put the fonts themselves on the packs.
4. Make /usr/andrew a mountpoint on the packs, so everything looks and
works the same way, but it's really in a locker instead.
5. Put support in "add" for understanding how to extend fontpaths based
on something interesting in the locker.
After discussion with Dot, Mike Barker, and Craig, we opted for a
variation on choice 4 above: Put Andrew in a replicated locker
sym-linked from /usr/andrew.
This means:
that Andrew can come off the packs.
that Consultants, Documentation, and Training still need to know that
there's only a SUBSET of what's available that is supported.
that nobody has to add andrew for the new world to work.
that the amount of work to do this is smaller.
