This is a reminder that the Athena 9.2.20 patch release is currently
scheduled for the evening of Monday September 22. Changes include:
On both platforms:
* from works for long lists of messages, and better handles errors.
* revert-to-dash works again.
* dm has minor fixes.
* bonobo processes are cleaned up at logout.
* ifhp is more careful not to send zephyrs to <message,personal,*>.
* pdflatex works again.
* ssh/sshd has a buffer management fix.
* A couple of pine security holes are fixed.
On Solaris:
* console logins will have proper ttys again.
* 9.2 installs are fixed.
* Sun patch 112785-24 is applied, which should fix Xess.
* CD drives should work on private machines where they didn't before.
On Linux:
* Evolution won't crash if you enable SSL.
* The Red Hat openssh RPMs are updated for the buffer fix.
If you have a machine set AUTOUPDATE=false, you can update it manually
after the release goes out by doing a console login as root and
running "update_ws".
