Hello,

I've recently inherited an UltraSparc 5 that I want to make into a house
Athena machine at Fenway House. It had an old release of Athena on the
disk, (8.4 I think) so I tried to do a manual update. This left the machine
unbootable from the disk. I then did a reinstall via network boot. The
machine now boots, and sawfish starts, but there seem to be many, many files
missing. For example, the "whoami" command isn't found. Is this a known
issue? What can I do to resolve it?

The Athena version reported by /etc/athena/version is 9.1.22.

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask workstation/install questions.
But it was the best guess I could make.

Thanks for your time,
Chris Wilkson
