You've been testing RH 8.0 for goodness on the video front with the
Matrox G450. It may or may not have relevant fixes.
I've just had my attention called to the fact that XF86 v4.3 is
scheduled for release on or about 22 January.
I've SEEN the code in there for the NVIDIA GeForce 4 that is the
difference between Supported and Unsupported for the Dell Latitude C840.
It might be a good idea to fetch an early rev of 4.3 and test it against
the Matrox G450, and on the IBM T30 to see if the screen blanking
problem with the ATI Radeon hi-res chipsets. Now is perhaps a critical
opportunity to get relevant bug fixes in!
