Subject: ATHENA UPDATE ON RS6000s
Date: Fri, 25 Aug 1995 14:09:18 EDT
From: John L Wilhelmi <wilhelmi@MIT.EDU>
Content-Length: 897
It appears that none of the machines in the private ATHENA cluster in room
66-070 were updated during the last week. I have checked a couple of them,
and they appear to have the automatic upgrade option selected.
Would it be possible to have the most recent version of the software
installed, or perhaps be told how I can do that myself?
For the record, the machines in the cluster are:
LANCASTER.MIT.EDU 18.63.0.84
LEICESTER.MIT.EDU 18.63.0.87
PEMBROKE.MIT.EDU 18.63.0.85
WARWICK.MIT.EDU 18.63.0.83
ARUNDEL.MIT.EDU 18.63.0.86
BERKELEY.MIT.EDU 18.63.0.88
CHEMERS1.MIT.EDU 18.63.0.59
Thank you.
John Wilhelmi
66-070 Cluster Manager
PS--The computer BERKELEY is having the additional problem that is not
allowing any user to log in except those in the local password file (and no
options have been changed in the software). We had the same problem with
WARWICK earlier this week....
