Solaris space check problem

Garry noted that a cluster machine had filled its /usr partition
trying to update, which isn't supposed to be able to happen, of
course. So I checked, and in fact, we weren't doing the space check
which we were supposed to be doing. We have pushed out a fix to the
field, to protect private machines which have not yet attempted to
update.
Just a heads-up; it's possible that some number of machines have been
toasted as a result of this oversight, though we don't know of any
specific instances yet.
