In reference to my report of the problem in testers[5255]:

<text missing from the help browser in Star Office 6 on Linux machines>

The problem doesn't show up on telharmonium, csnowden's Linux-Athena
workstation (a GX150). but it does on astrophel, same model, same
hardware, running the same Athena release (9.1.11). I verified that
both have the same font rpms, and identical X display extensions.
csnowden does get the problem when he runs on astrophel, so it seems
associated with the machine. The problem shows up on every other
Linux-Athena machine I have ready access to.

It's worth some effort to try to track this down- Star Office is heavily
used, currently the second most-used Third party software application
on Athena (after Matlab). I'd also be interested to know if the problem
manifests on the new IBMs, which I don't yet have access to.

                                               Alex
