I thought I'd check out what Dell's Linux support looked like so I went
for a swim in their web pages. I'd judge the Linux coverage and support
to be superior to the last time I did this. My favorite difference:
They're more explicit about what the various downloads are. An
XF86Config file download is labeled:

Driver support is included in Red Hat Linux, but these XF86Config
files are included to simplify configuration

Interestingly, I found on:
	http://www.dell.com/us/en/hied/topics/linux_video.htm
the following:

Nvidia - Accelerated OpenGL drivers for Xfree86 and XF86Config files for
all NVidia based video adapters including: TNT2, GeForce, GeForce2,
Diamond Viper. Non-accelerated support is included in Red Hat Linux, but
these RPMs are required to enable hardware accelerated OpenGL 3D
rendering.

RPMs for Red Hat Linux 7.0 SBE -
http://support.us.dell.com/us/en/filelib/download/index.asp?fileid=R24371

RPMs for Red Hat Linux 7.0 Retail -
http://support.us.dell.com/us/en/filelib/download/index.asp?fileid=R22595

Inasmuch as we run in patches for Sun OpenGL, I wanted to raise the
question: Do we want to consider running in an RPM with an enhanced
driver for 3d and OpenGL on the Dell/Linux box?
