The "Setting Expectations" half hour course is taught by Ed Dolan.
The "How to Say No" half hour course is taught by Mark Caison-Snow.
My thought was that the "How to Say No" material would build on what
we learn in the "Setting Expectations" course.
When I asked Ed if he could visit Release Team in 2 weeks with "Setting
Expectations" he had a time-crunch conflict. He offered the following
options:
Have the course on 19 Sept. but start Release Team early so Ed would be
on from 12:50 to 1:20.
See if Mark is available to teach "How to Say No" on the 19th.
Schedule Ed for the 26th.
I said I'd ask the team.
What are people's preferences? I'd normally suggest pushing off to the
26th, but I'm going to be interviewing someone across campus until
12:45, so I dunno if I'll be able to be on time for Release Team on the
26th myself.
I honestly don't know what to suggest.
