Hi,
I'm not sure this is the right address to report this problem. There is a
problem with mindsun.mit.edu, an athena private workstation (an ultra
5). As far as I can figure it out there is some kind of problem with
X. After rebooting, the last message is something like "can't start xlogin,
doing console login instead". Everything else in the booting process looked
fine (although I don't know much about suns). You can do console logins,
but you can't start X (I tried simply with the X command).
I assume that this is related to the update to 9. As far as I can tell, the
machine did take the (automatic) update last night, or at least that's what
/etc/athena/version says.
If this is not the right address to report this kind of problem , please
let me know who I should contact.
