Hi,

The problem is a simple one.  The announcement you quote below is an
advance warning of the release that is going to become available on
Wednesday the 25th (for linux).  At that point your machine should
take the update automatically some time when no one is logged in.  The
reason for the advanced announcement is so that people are not caught
off guard by the changes in the new release.  If you continue to have
problems taking the new release after next Wednesday, please let us
know.
