1. Solaris OS-checking

We need to remember to run the stats each time we apply a patch.

2. Dell SAWS config

May be deceptive or off.

3. Public release

jweiss did some back of the envelope calculations and determined that
we would be moving someting like 200GB over the net for the Solaris
release and something like 800GB for Linux. [But his per-machine byte
count for Linux was rather high; 161GB turns out to be the right
number assuming 400 machines taking the update.] Since the network
capacity is about 90GB per hour in theory and probably no more than
50GB per hour in practice, we should probably stagger the updates over
two days.

So, on the 24th we will do Suns and SGIs, and on the 25th we will do
Linux.

4. mkserv and web servers

We may have a mkserv service for a web server for Solaris at some
point.

5. ILead stuff

There will be a visiting committee doing peer review of IS; the
communication will theoretically be done at the team leader level or
above.

HR's job evaluation process is changing a bit; "compensable factors"
have become "job descriptors", and a decision-making job descriptor
has been added.
