It looks like there is going to be an interesting problem updating
certain machines installed with the sipb installer to 9.0. Machines
installed during a certain period of time (which I haven't identified
precisely) did not remove the gnorpm rpm when it was removed from the
release. Since these are all PUBLIC=false machines, gnorpm now looks
like a manually added rpm, and is not removed. It seems that the
RH-6.2 gnorpm rpm has a conflict with RH-7.1. On cutter-john:

bash-2.04# rpm -ivh --test /afs/athena.mit.edu/system/rhlinux/redhat-6.2/RedHat/RPMS/gnorpm-0.9-15.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        libbz2.so.0 is needed by gnorpm-0.9-15

I assume this means that updating one of these machines to 9.0 will
fail (gracefully) due to the broken dependency.

The only way I can think of to correct this problem is to re-add the
gnorpm rpm using the new version from 7.1, but would be interested to
hear any other possibilities people can think of.
